Renteria Vineyard Management was started by Salvador Renteria back in '87. They are one of the most well-known management companies throughout the valley and needed a new identity and web platform to continue growing and recruiting new talent and labor. The fact that the company is now run by Oscar Renteria, Salvador's son, is a testament to their family values, something that had to come across with the new strategy and website. Work completed while at Alta.co.
The identity employs cutting shears, a tool widely known in the wine country, to communicate what the company does. While they didn't want the identity to be overtly 'Mexican,' nods to the heritage are given through the verbiage of "Napa, Cali" and "Desde 1987" as well as the painterly typography similar to what you might find at taquerías.
The family owned and operated aspect of the company is very important to its leadership. By showing the entire team from the CEO, to the viticulturalists, to the workers in the field, prospective clients start to understand how relationships are valued and see exactly who they might be working with in the future. Each team member has a bio page that talks about their role with the company, how long they've been working there and a few personal details.
Each client was mapped out to show the range that the company works within. Select clients were given bio pages that discuss details of what Renteria does for them as well as testimonials to their work.
